.....“Are you lost or something, sir? Is this the right floor you’re on? This is Mr. Yokle’s Law Practice. Who’re you looking for?”
“That’s it: That is it” he replied, with a hint of joy! “Doctor Vogle. I’m looking for a man name Dr. Vogle…”
“Well I’m sorry but there’s no Dr. Vogle on this floor. Did you check the other floors? I mean, there are seventy-two floors in this building.”
“It was a dream I had last night” he quietly responded, clutching tattered garments. “An old man told me to come here to the Chandler Rose Building on this floor and ask for Dr. Vogle.”
“Well this is the Chandler Rose Tower but…”
“I know what you’re thinking, Miss” he interrupted. “But hear me out before you go off on a tangent.”
“Go off on a tangent!” The remark gave the impression of an educated man, she reckoned.
The initial idea to rid herself of his tainted company seared her mind like poker. And thus she said:
“Sir! Let me ask you this. Were you in an automobile accident or something? Do you have a legal case for us today?”
“No I wasn’t in an accident and this isn’t a legal case. I’ve got to speak with Dr. Vogle. It’s imperative that I do so quickly. I have a message for him.”
“Look sir: I think I’m beginning to lose patience with you. I’ve told you there’s no Dr. Vogle here” she insisted. “This is Mr. Yokle’s Law Practice.”
“I know I’m at the right place: I know it. My spirit tells me I’m at the right place, and it’s important that I see Dr. Vogle” he pleaded.
“Listen here to me, sir. I’m going to have to ask you to leave right now before I call security. You don’t have an appointment and…”
“Just a minute, Miss! Let me finish.” ........
