Who's Expressions?

Expressions Theatre was founded in 2003.  It is a 501c3 non-profit, tax deductible organization, co-founded by Dellis Caden Noble  with her dear friend, the late and legendary casting director and author of the actors bible, "Audition", Michael Shurtleff whose credits include The Sound of Music, The Graduate, Jesus Christ Superstar, All that Jazz and some 60 Broadway hits. It was their vision to expose all members of the community to the theatrical arts: acting, singing, dancing, music, with a special emphasis on developing the talents of young people who wish to pursue a career in theatre, film, and television

 Dellis Caden Noble has been a familiar face on the Atlanta theatre scene for some 30 years and a member of Screen Actors Guild for 22 years, American Federation Television & Radio Artists for 24years. She been a company member of The Academy Theatre, founding member of Southern Theatre Conspiracy, a member of Next City Comedy, and has worked @ 7Stages, Neighbor Playhouse- now- Theatre Decatur, The Alliance, Onstage Atlanta, Theater Emory & many more theatres in the SE. And just to name a few of her on camera credits; IBM, Craven Films, Kodak, Six Flags, MTV, We Three Kings, Goodyear.

Expressions Theatre is for career minded actors of all ages and is focused on three areas of endeavor:   presenting live performances, training actors with Michael shurtleff's Guide Posts, and helping actors achieve success in the entertainment field.

Some our past major productions include: "Charlie Brown and Friends", "Cats" , "Sylvia", "Original Comedy" , "Sylvia & Elvis", "A Flower Garden full of Comedy" and "high School Musical".

We have also been involved in 27 one-day community outreach shows for hospitals, nursing homes, garden clubs, churches, the American Red Cross-Katrina effort, and many other civic groups in Georgia.

Our 2008 season is being dedicated to Michael Shurtleff.

Many of our Expressions actors have been successful in television shows such as CSI, Desperate Housewives, Bernie Mac, Eve, Judging Amy, Blue Collar Comedy, Criminal Minds, That 70's Show, and Charmed, among others.  Others have done well, being principals in national television commercials including State Farm Insurance, Subway, Rooms to Go, etc.  Movie credits for our actors include, Raising Helen, The Terminal, The Perfect Man, Diego, The Fantasia Burrino Story.  You may have seen Expressions actor Terrance Thomas sing, dance and perform for the President of the United States, George Bush on Salute to the Troops, an ABC Special. Also, Terrance Thomas has re-occurring role on ABC seiries" Eli Stone"

Ari  Wallace, Expressions' Founding Company Member, better known as "Roxy Hunter" in Nickelodeon's Movies: "Secret of Shaman" &" Mystery of Moody Ghost".
