Sponsors, Supporters, & Friends of America’s Soul Food Museum

America’s Soul Food Museum presents over 400 years of contributions by African-Americans in the culinary arts & hospitality industry. The goals of The Soul Food Museum are to document, preserve, celebrate and educate all people, especially our youth, the history and achievements of the soul food industry by focusing on the fascinating history of soul food, soul food restaurants, black culture and black food ways in America and around the world. Also featured are black food and beverage manufacturers, farmers, entrepreneurs, recipes, and entertainment as well as new food products on the market by black manufacturers.

America’s Soul Food Museum is also a support system for chefs, cooks, waiters, waitresses, bartenders, housekeepers, janitors, dishwashers, shoe shiners, caterers, restaurants, hotel owners and food manufacturers. Annually, the Museum gives 5’ trophies to those in the industry that exemplify excellence at the Southern Heritage Food Expo & Awards celebration.

Many visitors and supporters over the years have wondered how they could get the Soul Food Museum experience and education to their communities, schools or events. Thus was born the idea to launch a mobile museum exhibit and food sampling national tour in 2011.
